Honouring Paul J. Hill's 50-Year Milestone

Fifty years ago, Paul J. Hill returned to the family business following a successful career in the banking and investment sector. What followed was an extraordinary five decades of leadership, growth, and diversification. As the third generation to lead The Hill Companies, Paul helped transform a Saskatchewan-based business into a North American enterprise spanning real estate, insurance, media, manufacturing, surety, oil and gas, and technology.

Throughout his career, Paul has championed Western Canada, pursued opportunities that strengthened local economies, and played a key role in shaping the business landscape of Regina and Saskatchewan. His leadership helped attract major investment to the province, create thousands of jobs, and establish organizations and institutions that continue to make an impact today. While Paul continues to serve as Executive Chairman, he has also successfully guided the transition to a fourth generation of family leadership, with Rosanne Hill Blaisdell leading Harvard Developments and Matthew Hill leading Harvard Diversified.

But perhaps Paul's greatest legacy is the opportunity he has created for others. Together with his wife Carol, he has dedicated countless hours and resources to giving back. Their ongoing support for education, community development, the arts, and programs that help young people build brighter futures includes initiatives such as Mother Teresa Middle School and support for the Paul J. Hill School of Business at the University of Regina. Paul has also been a passionate supporter of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the important role the team plays in bringing Saskatchewan people and communities together. These efforts have helped change the lives of countless students and families in Regina and beyond.

"The Hill Companies have been, and always will be, totally dedicated to helping others," says Paul. "We are in business to improve others' quality of life and to assist those who may not have the same opportunities to gain a step up and help them realize their goals."

Please join us in congratulating Paul on 50 years of leadership, vision, generosity, and unwavering commitment to creating opportunities for others.
